Two participants in the network on Narrative Liminality, James Dorson and Regina Schober, recently curated a special issue of Studies in American Naturalism on 'data fiction.' Their introduction to the issue, published in 2017, is now publicly available.

The research network Narrative Liminality and/in the Formation of American Modernities proposes 'Narrative Liminality' as an analytic category to think about symbolic forms other than narrative, and about the cultural work done in the liminal area between narrative and other forms. The network is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
